How to Play

Tap or click a cockroach the instant it appears -- the longer you wait, the more likely it escapes back into its hole, which costs a life just like tapping a ladybug by mistake does. Build a streak of clean squashes to earn a score multiplier and unlock more roaches on screen at once, but every roach shows up for less time as your streak climbs, so the pace keeps ramping up. You start with 3 lives; lose them all and the run ends.

Tips

• Cockroaches and ladybugs look nothing alike on purpose (dark oval body vs. bright red with black spots) -- glance at the silhouette, not the color, for the fastest correct read under pressure.
• A missed roach costs the same one life as a wrongly-squashed ladybug, so if you're not sure which one just popped up, it's safer to hesitate than to guess and tap.
• The score multiplier only kicks in at a 5-streak and jumps again at 10 and 15 -- a single wrong tap resets it to zero, so don't get greedy chasing a second roach if a ladybug is also on screen.
• Ladybugs stay visible noticeably longer than roaches before they leave on their own -- there's no rush to identify one, take the extra beat to be sure before your hand moves.
