How to Play

Press a terminal and drag to its matching numbered pair to lay a wire between them. Drag back along a wire to unwind it, or grab it mid-run to reroute from that point. Cutting a new wire through an existing one is allowed -- the old wire simply gets trimmed back to where you crossed it. The catch is the win condition: linking all the pairs isn't enough on its own, because every cell on the board has to be filled, which usually means taking the long way round rather than the direct line. Boards grow from a 5x5 grid with 3 wires up to a 7x7 grid with 9, and there's no timer or fail state -- take as long as you want, and use CLEAR BOARD to start a grid over.

Tips

  • Start in the corners and along the edges. A corner cell has only two possible connections, so the wire passing through it is often forced -- that's free information you can build the rest of the board around.
  • Because every square must end up filled, a wire that runs straight between its two terminals is usually wrong. Ask which cells nothing else can reach, and route the nearest wire through them.
  • You never need to clear the whole board to fix one mistake -- grab a wire partway along its run and drag from there, and everything past that point unwinds while the rest stays put.
  • Watch the FILLED percentage rather than the wire count. Reaching 100% filled and all wires linked happen together in a correct solution, so if you're linked up but stuck in the 80s, one of your routes is taking a shortcut.
