How to Play

Tap or click a column to drop your disc into the lowest open slot. Players alternate turns; the first to connect 4 of their own discs in a row -- horizontally, vertically, or diagonally -- wins. Pick 2 Players to share the screen and take turns tapping, or 1 Player to face a CPU opponent that plans several moves ahead.

Tips

• Controlling the center column matters most -- a disc in the middle can extend into a winning line in more directions (horizontal, vertical, and both diagonals) than one dropped near the edge.
• Watch for a double threat: if you can set up two different columns that would each complete 4 in a row, your opponent can only block one of them.
• Don't just react to your opponent's last move -- count ahead a couple of turns, since a column that looks safe now can become a forced loss once a few more discs stack up.
• The CPU opponent always takes an immediate winning move and always blocks your immediate winning move, so the real battle is in setting up an unstoppable double threat several moves in advance.
