How to Play
Choose IN or OUT turn, then drag back from the stone and release, like a slingshot, to throw it down the sheet. The stone glides on almost no friction and slowly curls in the direction you picked. Land closest to the button to score — but stay short of the near hog line or the stone doesn't count, and slide too far and it goes off the back. Stones already on the ice are solid obstacles you can knock aside or use as guards. Whoever's stones are closest to the button after both sides throw all 4 scores that end; most points after 3 ends wins.
Tips
- A stone doesn't have to reach the house to be useful — a well-placed short stone becomes a guard that blocks your opponent's straight line to the button on their next throw.
- Curl is subtle but adds up over the full length of the sheet — a stone thrown dead-straight with no read on the turn will drift further off-line than it looks like it should from the release point.
- The CPU will try to knock your stone away if it's sitting closest to the button, so don't assume a good draw shot is safe — a follow-up guard in front of it can protect your position.
- Power control matters more than aim on a mostly-frictionless sheet — a slightly-too-hard throw that would score perfectly at the right speed can slide straight through the house and off the back.
